What is the difference between the one-piece doll and the head split doll

From the appearance of physical dolls to today, there are more and more types of physical dolls. It can be divided into silica gel and TPE according to material; It can be divided into mini, full size and half body according to size; According to the structure, it can be divided into integrated version, head disassembly version and multi part split version; According to the appearance, it can be divided into realism, Lolita, anime, spirit and so on.

 

The head dismounted doll is made separately from the body, and then assembled together after all the processes are completed. The one-piece model is to pour the head and body into a mold to form a full-size physical doll.

 

The biggest difference between the two is whether there is an obvious gap in the doll's neck. There is an obvious gap between the body and the head, which is a detachable head doll. The body and head are connected by screws and screw openings; The one-piece doll with no obvious gap at the neck joint looks more like a real person.

 

Disadvantages:

(1) Unreal

 

The detachable head doll has an obvious chimeric opening at the neck. If the chimeric opening is covered by a wig, it will be fine. But if it is exposed, it looks like a dummy in a clothing store;

 

(2) Easily damaged

 

As the head and body are rotated or crimped with screws, these hardware parts will inevitably wear out after long-term use, and the worn parts will make the doll's head fragile;

 

(3) Permeability

 

When removing the head for cleaning, if the cleaning method is improper, the water will easily flow into the neck gap, causing internal moisture, mildew, material deterioration and other problems;

 

(4) Skin color difference

 

Because they are made separately, the skin color of the head and body may be different due to the mixing of materials.
