Are silicone dolls expensive?

The raw material of silicone dolls is environmentally friendly liquid silicone, not TPE or inflatable.

 

The cheapest environmentally friendly liquid silicone material on the market costs over 50 yuan/KG, with high-quality liquid silicone reaching hundreds of yuan/kg. Generally, silicone materials of around 80-100 yuan/kg are mostly used, with 20-30 kilograms of raw materials being the minimum for one doll.

 

The cost of making a doll also requires a mold, which is about 10000 yuan and can be used dozens to hundreds of times. For those with high quality requirements, the mold can only be used a few times.

 

The silicone doll also needs to be filled with a metal skeleton inside, which is about a few hundred yuan.

 

After the silicone doll is made, makeup and coloring, trimming, hair transplantation, clothing, and more are required.

 

After calculation, the minimum cost for a relatively normal and basic silicone doll starts at 4000 yuan.
