But I believe that when choosing dolls, everyone may encounter situations where they like the head of A family but like the body of B family, or when A family's overall doll exceeds the budget, they can only buy the original head of A family and then match it with a cheaper body.

 

This selection may result in head to body matching issues. At present, there is no unified standard for head to body connections in the physical doll industry, both domestically and internationally. Head to body connections can be roughly divided into the following three situations:

 

1. Most silicone doll manufacturers will develop their own unique skeletons, and the connectors are welded to the skeleton, so they can only use their own head carvings, such as ex, artificial humans, Sanhui, and Xingyi

 

2. Some silicone doll manufacturers consider the issue of head to body conversion when producing their bodies. The connectors they design are separate, and when replacing the connectors, other manufacturers' head carvings can be replaced. For example, the design of Xiannaxin (PS: please inform customer service before placing an order, otherwise it will be welded) is particularly user-friendly.

 

3. Most TPE doll manufacturers use a unified skeleton, and the connectors are also the same. They all have a universal 1.6cm screw mouth, and their bodies and heads can be easily replaced without the need to switch heads, such as Junying, Jinsan, Qita, Liuye, Shin Chung Yi, Catdol, color scheme, Aifei, etc

 

The volume of physical dolls is all the size of a real person, and storage and storage are a problem. Most doll collectors will purchase multiple head sculptures, but the body may only have one or two, which may also have head to body matching issues. Furthermore, after buying a doll for a while, I became tired of looking at it. If I wanted to replace it with a new one, it would be very troublesome to handle it with my body. If I could solve the matching problem and keep my body, it would be much more convenient to replace it with a new one.

 

All of the above problems are caused by the lack of unified standards for head and body connectors among various manufacturers. In order to solve this problem, children began to develop their own converters, which use a metal connecting rod to match the head and body of each manufacturer. After a long period of design and adjustment, even the doll heads of the Japanese company OT can match the body of domestic dolls, and the price difference between the doll head and body in Japan is more than three times, The price of the doll head from OT Society is around 10000 yuan, but the body cost more than 30000 yuan, which is only the local price in Japan, excluding customs duties and shipping costs.
