The Correct Selection Method for Simulating Silicone Solid Dolls

b. The silicone doll material is soft and slightly less stretchable than EPT, which is not easy to dye, oil out, deform, and has a long lifespan. It has good performance in body curves and skin texture details, and can be coated. It can be used for hair transplantation, eyelash implantation, and the material is shiny. It is difficult to wear clothes with heavy weight, and the price is the most expensive. (ps: one-step positioning type)

 

c. At present, there is only one manufacturer producing cloth dolls, which are lightweight and easy to store. They also do not require frequent maintenance such as washing and powdering, and are easy to wear. The price is the cheapest. (PS: If you like dolls, you can consider them)

 

2. Choose a brand

 

There are domestic brands, Japanese brands, and European and American brands of dolls on the market (for brands, please refer to my other article for a detailed introduction). In terms of price, imported dolls are much more expensive than domestic ones, with prices ranging from 5w to 9w for imported brands and 3k to 3w for domestic brands. The reason for the high price is definitely due to the fact that dolls priced at tens of thousands of yuan are all silicone dolls. It is recommended to choose a reputable brand with guaranteed quality, one step implementation, and less tuition fees.

 

3. Choose your body

 

a. Choose a height. Currently, the height of the doll is between 120 and 170, with a body weight of around 20kg for 120, around 25kg for 148, around 30kg for 160, and around 35kg for 170 (which varies for each family). Of course, the lighter the better, making it easy to carry, take a shower, and dress.

 

b. Choose a body ratio and chest size. Some people like the full-bodied mature girl type, some like the slim girl type, some like the big breasts, some like the flat breasts, and so on

 

c. Whether to choose a split or a whole mainly refers to the functional aspect. Poor authenticity of split body, easy to clean; One piece is beautiful and realistic, difficult to clean

 

d. Choosing a skeleton, each doll manufacturer designs a different skeleton structure, which results in slight variations in the activity of each brand's dolls. Some dolls can pose 90% closer to a real person, while others can only pose 70% closer to a simple human. Some dolls can bounce back even after being placed properly, which is related to their body material. If you are a photography enthusiast, skeleton design should be considered as a part of your consideration.
