I believe those who have experienced raising children in the industry know that both TPE dolls and silicone dolls will face the problem of oil stains. The main reason is that a certain proportion of industrial grease must be added during the production process of the doll to ensure a good hand feel. TPE dolls use industrial white oil, while silicone dolls use silicone oil. During use and storage, dolls secrete oil that makes the skin smooth and lubricated, which is commonly known as the phenomenon of oil leakage.
Dust in the air will be adsorbed on the surface of the doll due to the secretion of oil. Small areas can be directly cleaned with soap and water, then wiped with a damp towel, and then air dried. But when the surface of the doll's skin is heavily contaminated, it is recommended to use olive oil or industrial white oil for treatment. First, apply the oil evenly to the surface of the contaminated area, gently wipe the dust with a towel (pure cotton, thin), and repeat the process according to the degree of elimination.
The specific steps for dust removal of physical dolls are as follows:
Firstly, purchase professional cleaning agents. Generally, manufacturers will ship free cleaning agents with the doll. Of course, buyers can also purchase according to their preferences.
Next, use a cotton swab to apply oil to areas with dust and stains. When wiping, do not use too much force, otherwise it is easy to damage the skin on the doll's surface. The entire process lasts about 10-60 minutes.
Finally, after removing the dirt, gently wipe the contaminated area with a clean towel or cotton swab.
